Sonas MacLean

Based in Dunfermline, Sonas MacLean is inspired by the sea and everything surrounding it. Her work focuses on eploring the fishing havens and coastlines mainly around Scotland. She uses colour, light and composition to distil the true character she sees in the land around her.
Sonas has exhibited extensively in Scotland as well as Nationally and Internationally. She has received many awards, as well as having pictures included in Numerous public collections. Sonas is originally from Caithness, but has lived and worked in Fife for many years.
