Steve Leslie Wrightson

A graduate of Elmwood College, Steve L Wrightson is an artist and craftsman with truly unique talent.Qualified as an interior decorator, he produces decorative glass tile mosaics and photograph frames with applied beach found items & mixed media assemblages. Inspired by a love of Scotland's beautiful coastlines, Steve’s work depicts the wonderful marine wildlife that lives around & along Scotland's shores.
“I collect beach found items primarily from the coasts around Fife, though I always try to collect bits & pieces from many Scottish beaches when travelling around. Seashells, crab shells, barnacles, dried starfish & driftwood are all collected, along with treasures such as sea turned glass and pottery .”
Steve’s work benefits from being seen as the fantastic detailing and 3D qualities are lost in photographs.
