SUMMER EXHIBITION 2010
Art Room 59, Invites you to celebrate summer with its Annual Exhibition inspired by Fifes’ coastline.
“More Flotsam than Jetsam” previews on Saturday 12th June and showcases the work of several local artists. The Gallery has a growing reputation for having things that “are a little bit different” and this show will not disappoint.
As the title suggests, this is very much a mixed show of arts and crafts including decorative glass tile mosaics, by Steve Wrightson, intricate pen and ink drawings by Ann Irvine, paintings by Alison Midson and Claire Wills, enamel work by Lewis Banks and merino wool pictures by Selkirk based, Moy MacKay .
Driftwood clocks, Sea Glass jewellery and reclaimed interior accessories all add to the “beach found” theme.
The exhibition continues until the end of July.
