Olivia Brown - CeramicsOlivia graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1999 with a frist class honours degree in contemporary crafts, since then she has exhibited widely around the UK. As well as one off sculptures she has created numerous site specific installations. "Libre les grenouilles" - shown at the Crafts Council in January 2002 depicted the plight of frogs in French restaurants. Most recently the plight of 500 rats, scottish terriers and crows have been featured in a new installation which opened in Middlebrorough town centre - the installation depicts a jumpsuit factory, powered by overworked rats and the evil feline boss 'Sinclair'. The show toured extensively thoughout the UK.
